Men’s Hockey (20-6-2)

Feb. 28 – W St. Norbert 3 vs. L MSOE 1

*March 7 – L St. Norbert 2 at W Adrian College 4 (NCHA Harris Cup Championship)

Grand Knight- A tough loss to Adrian College in the Harris Cup Championship on March 7 but will get a large bid to participate in the NCAA Division 3 Tournament. Tony Kujava ’ 17, Marian Fiala ’ 15 and Chris Rial ’ 15 were all named to the Harris Cup Playoffs All-Tournament Team. Hope to see you boys in the tournament!

 

Women’s Hockey (16-7-4)

March 6 – L St. Norbert vs W Lake Forest 5

Grand Knight – Tough loss for the Green Knights as their season ended March 6 against Lake Forest after having a 3-2 lead in the third period. Thank you to our seniors Katie Conlon and Alli Parker for a great season!

Men’s Basketball (24-2)

Midwest Conference Tournament

Feb 27 – W St. Norbert 85 vs L Ripon College 74

Feb 28 – W St. Norbert 91 vs L Grinnell College 73 – CONFERENCE CHAMPS!

*March 6 – L St. Norbert 98 vs. W Elmhurst 110   3OT

Grand Knight- After a triple overtime heartbreaker, the Green Knights lost to Elmhurst in tournament play on March 6. Austin Elliott ’15 led the team with 31 points along with Steven Hofacker ’15 contributed 21 points. Thank you our seniors Austin Elliott, Steven Hofacker, Nick Hofman and Andrew Schwoerer for a great season!

 

Women’s Basketball (22-4)

Midwest Conference Tournament

Feb 27 – W St. Norbert 61 vs. L Illinois College 51

Feb 28 – W St. Norbert 71 vs. L Cornell College 51 – CONFERENCE CHAMPS!

*March 6 – L St. Norbert 61 vs. W Luther College 72

Grand Knight- Tasha Giese ’15 led the Green Knights with 12 points followed by Mallory Nickerson ’17 adding on 11 points. Thank you to our senior Tasha Giese on a great season; along with Coach Tilley who earned Coach of the Year two years in a row.

Men’s Tennis (1-6)

March 6- L St. Norbert 0 vs. W La Crosse 9

Grand Knight- Tough match as the Knights go 0-9 against U.W. La Crosse at Western Racquet and Fitness.

 

Men’s Track &Field

Feb 27 & 28 – St. Norbert finished second out of ten teams at the Midwest Conference Indoor Championship

March 7- St. Norbert went unscored in the UW Stevens Point Last Chance Meet

Grand Knights- February 27 – Randy Hill ’15 first in the long jump. Medley team of Ryan Grandlic ’15, Tyler Lewis ’17, Akeem Edmonds ’ 15 and Austin Livingston ’ 17 turned in first in the 1,600 sprint relay.

February 28 – Randy Hill ’15 was named one of three outstanding conference field athletes after finishing first in the triple jump. Evan Broyles ’ 16 finished second in the throw at 52-6 ½.

Women’s Track & Field

Feb 27 & 28- St. Norbert finished first out of ten teams at the Midwest Conference Indoor Championship

March 6 – The St. Norbert girls went unscored in the Carthage College Last Chance Meet

March 7 – The St. Norbert girls went unscored in the UW Stevens Point Last Chance Meet

Grand Knights- February 27 – Brittany Kozlowski ’17 won the conference title in the 1-mile run, clocking in at 5:03.82. Liz LeCaptain ’17, Angel Hon ’16, Erin Lang ’ 16 and Mara Aparnieks ’ 15 won the 4×200-meter relay with a time of 1:47.75. Liz LeCaptain ’ 16, Erin Lang ’ 16, Clarissa Jauregui ’17 and Haley Joosten ’ 17 won the 1,600-meter sprint medley with a time of 4:19.36.

February 28 – Liz LeCaptain ’16 won the 60-meter dash clocking in at 7.82 seconds. She was also third in the 200-meter dash with a time of 26.69 seconds. Brittany Kozlowski ’ 17 was named one of three Most Outstanding Track Performers and won the 800-meter run with a time of 2:15.27. Taylor Wenze l15 chipped in with a win in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 9.36 seconds. The distance medley relay won the conference championship with the quartet of Alyssa Price ’ 17, Lauren Janes ’ 15, Crystal Combs ’ 18 and Lisa Baeten ’ 18 clocked in at 12:47.57.
