Grand Knight – The Green Knights got some fine pitching performances in the double header wins over Lawrence. In the first game, Matt Freeman ’15 went eight innings and gave up only one run on one hit while striking out twelve. In the second game, Jake McMahon ’17 allowed two runs in seven innings pitched while striking out 9.

Softball (9-13)

Results – April 1 – L St. Norbert 1 vs UW-Oshkosh 2

Midwest Conference Classic in Janesville, WI April 10-12

April 10 – W St. Norbert 5 vs Cornell 4

April 10 – W St. Norbert 18 vs Illinois College 2

April 11 – L St. Norbert 4 vs Lake Forest 9

Grand Knight – MacKenzie Hazen ’15 drove home the game-winning walk-off run in the win vs Cornell. In the same game, Emily Laufer ’16 drove in four runs, three of them coming on a home run.

Men’s Track and Field

Results – April 2 – St. Norbert finished third at the St. Norbert Twilight at Schneider Stadium. 1st in 200-meter dash: Ryan Grandlic ’17 – 1st in long jump: Randy Hill ’15 – 1st in javelin throw: Dan Sisler ’15.

April 11 – St. Norbert won the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warrior Invitational. 1st in shot put: Brad Boockmeier ’16– 1st in javelin throw: Boockmeier – 1st in long jump: Randy Hill ’15 – 1st in 400-meter dash: Ryan Grandlic ’17 – 1st in 800-meter dash: Austin Livingston ’16 – 1st in 3,000-meter steeplechase: Hayden Hoffmann ’15 – 1st in 4X400-meter relay: Tyler Lewis ’17, Livingston, Taylor Pasterski ’17 and Grandlic – 1st in 800-meter sprint medley: Brennan Beachler ’17, Taylor Daul ’17, Riley Scanlan ’18 and Pasterski – 1st in distance medley: Sam Holt ’17, Alexander Clemetson ’15, Tommy Zakowski ’17 and Jacob Wittmershaus ’17.

Women’s Track and Field

Results – April 2 – St. Norbert won the St. Norbert Twilight Meet at Schneider Stadium. 1st in 400-meter dash: Clarissa Jauregui ’17 – 1st in 1,500-meter run: Erin Artz ’17 – 1st in 5,000-meter run: Lisa Baeten ’18 – 1st in long jump: Liz LeCaptain ’17.

April 11 – St. Norbert won the Wisconsin Lutheran College Warrior Invitational at Raabe Stadium. 1st in 100-meter dash: Liz LeCaptain ’17 – 1st in long jump: LeCaptain – 1st in 800-meter run: Lisa Baeten ’18 – 1st in 1-mile run: Baeten – 1st in 100-meter hurdles: Taylor Wenzel ’15 – 1st in 400-meter dash: Brittany Kozlowski ’17 – 1st in high jump: Nicole Vanderlin ’16 – 1st in javelin throw: Erin Lang ’17 – 1st in 4X100-meter relay: Mara Aparnieks ’15, LeCaptain, Lang and Angel Hon ’16. 1st in 800-meter sprint medley: Aparnieks, LeCaptain, Lang and Hon – 1st in distance medley: Jamie Karrels ’16, Deanna Knetzger ’18, Paulina Puskala ’17 and Malgorzata Waz ’18.

Men’s Tennis (5-10)

Results – April 1 – W St. Norbert 9 vs Ripon 0

April 11 – L St. Norbert 2 vs Lake Forest 7

April 11 – L St. Norbert 3 vs Carroll 6

Grand Knight: Nate Gosz ’15 won his singles match vs Lake Forest and teamed up in doubles with Travis Buechel ’15 to win a match versus Carroll.

Men’s Golf

Results – April 11 – The Green Knights tied for fifth out of thirteen teams at the Wisconsin Lutheran Invitational.

Grand Knight – Ben Socha ’16 tied for second with a score of 74. Ben Verbeten ’15 finished tied for fifth with a 75.
