A look at who is presenting at this year’s E3
The Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) will be taking place in June and will be one of the biggest events for gaming news this year. Each year, many of the big video game companies come and announce their big upcoming titles that will be coming out in the next few years. The show is mostly known for most of the big companies having press conferences that are platforms to announce these games.
For the first time, Bethesda will have their own press conference on June 14 at 9 p.m. CST where it is rumored that a fourth entry in their “Fallout” series will be announced. There will also be a new show called the “PC Gaming Show” which will bring in many PC game developers to talk about what they are working on. This event will take place on June 16 at 7 p.m. CST and will feature companies like Bohemia Interactive, Tripwire Interactive, Devolver Digital and Paradox Interactive.
There are also other press conferences by the big multiplatform developers. EA will have their press conference on June 15 at 3 p.m. CST. It is unknown when Ubisoft will have their conference, but it will be interesting to see, as they usually have had huge announcements at the end that blow the crowd away. Square Enix will be having a press conference on June 16 at 11 a.m. CST where it is likely that they will announce the release date for their upcoming “Final Fantasy XV.”
The big console manufacturers will also have their own press conferences where they will talk about what is coming to their systems, although it is not known when those conferences will be held. Sony’s conference will most likely have a good mix of games, as they have lately put focus not only on big blockbuster titles, but small indie ones as well. Microsoft’s conference will be where Rare will announce their newest game, where it is likely that the first footage of the new “Call of Duty” will be shown and where Microsoft will talk about gaming on the upcoming Windows 10. Nintendo will most likely have a series of new games to come out, but it is likely that they will properly announce a new entry in the “Star Fox” series for Wii U.
