Knights Extend Streak to 6

The Green Knights put away Ripon 4-1, cruising to their 6th straight victory on Saturday. The game played at West De Pere High School saw the 8-2 Green Knights take on the 3-5 Red Hawks.

St. Norbert scored 2 goals in the first period, Ben Prange finding net in the 25th minute, for his 9th of the season and Griffin Hoerchner striking just 2 minutes later for his third. The Green Knihgt defense looked dominate all throughout the half allowing almost no possession in their half and shutting down all attacking attempts Ripon was throwing forward. In the second half Anthony Masello and D.J. Dickson found net for the Green Knights sealing the comfortable win.

The win propels the men to 9-2 on the year and 4-0 in conference play to put them at the top of the table. Over the course of the 6 game win streak they have outscored their opponents 15-2. Next up for the Knights is a trip to Lake Forest College on Wednesday. It is a huge game as both teams sit at 4-0 in the conference and appear to be the main contenders for the conference Crown.
