Now that fall is officially upon us, so is the annual obsession with the ever-famed Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latte. This one fall-themed product has completely taken over September through Thanksgiving. Though it may have started out as one small step for lattes, it turned out to be one giant leap for all pumpkin spice items everywhere. Products of the pumpkin spice variety proliferate virtually everywhere once September 22 hits, and this year is no different. Here are five fun ways to get your fill of pumpkin spice without feeling too cliché waiting in a Starbucks line.
Pumpkin Spice Candle
A perfect way to get that fresh scent of fall, Halloween, and Thanksgiving all in one! Now you can make any room or area where you have a candle into a haven of wonderful pumpkin spiciness. This is obviously a purchase for at home or non-campus residences, though, since we all know candles aren’t allowed in the dorms… Pumpkin Spice Cheerios
If you’re looking for a way to cheer up you’re already cheery morning with Cheerios, mix it up and splurge on the pumpkin-spice flavored ones. They’re heart-healthy, gluten free, and only $2.50 at Target! These are also fun snacks to carry around with you if you feel the need for that yummy pumpkin taste wherever you go.
Pumpkin Spice Lip Balm
That fresh Autumn scent is right under your nose…literally. Not only can you keep your lips from getting chapped as the cold weather sets in, but you can also keep them smelling nice and pumpkin spicy.
Pumpkin Spice K-Cups
While very similar to the original Pumpkin Spice Latte of Starbucks, K-cups are a more affordable and accessible option for college students everywhere. Now you don’t have to worry about driving all the way to Starbucks for that basic goodness; you can make it in the comfort of your own room! It will also make your room smell really good after you’ve made it, a bonus for students who live in dorms where candles are strictly forbidden. It’s almost like you’re getting a two-for-one deal!
Pumpkin Spice Pancake Mix
Pancakes and pumpkin spice all in one for breakfast: what more could you want? This way you get that delicious taste and you get pancakes—it’s a win win!
